The food-grade gear oil pump is primarily composed of gears, shafts, pump bodies, safety valves, and shaft end seals. The gears, heat-treated for higher hardness and strength, are installed together with the shafts in replaceable bushings for operation. Lubrication of all components inside the food-grade gear oil pump is automatically achieved during pump operation using the output medium.
The pump is designed with properly configured oil discharge and return grooves, minimizing torque forces exerted on the gears during operation. As a result, the bearing load is reduced, leading to minimal wear and high efficiency of the food-grade gear oil pump.
Equipped with a safety valve for overload protection, the food-grade gear pump has a full-flow pressure set at 1.5 times the rated discharge pressure of the pump. Additionally, the pressure can be adjusted according to actual requirements within the allowable discharge pressure range. However, it should be noted that this safety valve should not be used as a pressure relief valve for long-term operation. If necessary, a separate pressure relief valve can be installed in the pipeline.
