YCB Bitumen Gear Pump Structural features
YCB series gear pumps mainly consist of gears, shafts, pump bodies, pump covers, bearing sleeves, and shaft end seals. The gears are manufactured with a double circular arc sine curve tooth profile. Its outstanding advantage over involute gears is that there is no relative sliding between the tooth profile surfaces during gear meshing, so the tooth surfaces have no wear, smooth operation, no cavitation phenomenon, low noise, and long service life. This pump breaks free from the constraints of traditional design, making gear pumps enter a new stage in design, production, and use. YCB series gear pumps are equipped with relief valves as overload protection, and the full flow pressure of the relief valve is 1.5 times the rated discharge pressure of the pump. It can also be adjusted according to actual needs within the allowable discharge pressure range. But please note that this valve cannot work as a pressure-reducing valve for a long time. If necessary, it can be installed separately in the pipeline. The shaft end seal of YCB series gear pumps is designed in two forms, mechanical seal and packing seal, which can be determined according to specific usage and user requirements.
